Privacy

Discretion is not a feature. It is the practice.

This statement describes how information shared through this website is handled. It is written to be read, not merely displayed.

What this website collects

This website sets no advertising trackers and runs no third-party analytics. Fonts and all assets are served from the site itself — visiting these pages does not send your data to font networks, social platforms or advertising systems.

The enquiry form on the contact page does not transmit or store anything on this website. Submitting it prepares an email inside your own mail application, addressed to us; nothing leaves your device until you choose to send that email.

What we do with what you send

Information you send us — by email, by phone or through the prepared enquiry email — is used for one purpose: to assess and respond to your enquiry. In practice this means it is read by the partners and, where relevant, discussed among them.

  • We do not sell, rent or trade your information — to anyone, for any reason.
  • We do not add you to marketing lists, and we do not send newsletters you did not ask for.
  • We share information outside the firm only with your instruction, or where the law requires it.

Confidentiality beyond privacy

Privacy policies describe the minimum the law expects. Our working standard is the stricter one that transactions demand: enquiries are treated as confidential whether or not a mandate follows, and a mutual non-disclosure agreement is available on request before you share anything sensitive.

Retention

Correspondence is retained for as long as it is relevant to an actual or potential engagement, or as required by professional and legal obligations, and no longer.

Your choices

You may ask us at any time what information of yours we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where no legal obligation requires retention. Write to info@velmaxcapital.com.

Hosting

These pages are served as static files by our hosting provider, which may process standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site securely. Such logs are governed by the provider's own policies and are not used by us to identify visitors.
